Stretch leather

Welcome in the STRECTH leather world

MAGISCO is our commercial name for STRETCH Lambskins.

Our customers are with ratio 50/50%Boots manufacturers and Garment manufacturers.
The principle of the Stretch lambskins consists to bond fine thickness of leather on special fabric (97% cotton +3% ® Lycra fabric) to give the elasticity characteristic to the final product.
Our Tannery produces on 2 weight of fabric : the Normal one and the "Plume" light one. The first and the original gives to the final product a thickness 0.7/0.9 mm then the "Plume" gives a 0.5/0.6 mm.
For the main items, the fabric is dyed with the leather so it takes the same color than the dying bath's one.

The specifications of the STRECTH leather are :

  • Fabric : Same color than the Suede surface leather  (exceptions for special items) 
  • Standard colors : Black, Moka 
  • All colors possible according to the customers reference swatches (no tannery color card)
  • Finishing GROUPS: SUEDE, EMBOSSED, NAPPA, TRANSFERT and PLONGé
  • Grade : Higher selection
  • Description :  Size 55-60 SF per dozen for SUEDE  and 60-65 sf for NAPPA, PLONGé
  • Thickness of the Stretch Leather  : 0.7/0.9 mm on Normal fabric, 0.5/0.6 mm on Plume (light fabric)   
  • Elasticity 25-30 % on width sense skins only
  • Size specifications : length 25-30 inches, width 14-18 inches for SUEDE and length 26-31 inches, width 13-18 inches for NAPPA, PLONGé
